2010-06-14-Email from Neill Stacey

Dear Mo
Here is a copy of an email sent to Peter Hopkins regarding the security
of Mi Sol Accounts/Database.
14th June 2010
Hi Peter,
It has come to my attention that a former Committee member and now ordinary Owner has been attempting to obtain a copy of the Mi Sol Accounts / Database for her own purposes.
As I am sure you are aware, any Owner is entitled to inspect the accounts of the Community, in the Offices of the Community, by appointment.  They are NOT allowed to make copies or remove any part of them.
Should I discover that ANY Owner has been allowed to breach these rules, I will consider that action a serious attack against my privacy under the Spanish Data Protection Legislation, and will immediately take any legal action possible to obtain compensation.
The present system of you preparing the accounts of Mi Sol Park in conjunction with the President, and then presenting them to a SPANISH, independent, external professional Assessor for Audit, is in my opinion, not only working well, but is the ONLY system that ensures the accounts of Mi Sol are accurate and up to date.
It seems to me that no useful purpose is served by allowing unqualified and incompetent people to fiddle with the Accounts/Database so they may then attack you with inaccurate and spurious allegations of wrong doing, when they do not have a proper working knowledge of the Spanish accounting system. A total waste of time all round.
A Copy of this letter is being presented to the President
Keep up the good work,
Neill Stacey
