Letter to the President and Committee of Mi-Sol Park:
Please discuss the items listed below at the next committee meeting and please publish this letter on the official Mi-Sol Blog.
1. Re: the letter from 612 regarding the area outside the office being changed into a car park.
Many people have commented on this and although most think this is overall a good idea, there are a few points which will need to be discussed and added to the agenda for the forthcoming AGM meeting. Firstly, where will the gates be in relationship to the "new car park?" It would seem to be a good idea to have a "car waiting area" outside the gates. Another point that has been raised is--if the top garden is to be renovated then that would be the time to move the office. The top garden is communal land and as such cannot be sold. This is not the case with plots 2 and 3 which is where the office is now situated and which could be sold if the office was moved.
5. Re: the e-mail from Rosario regarding the gates: If she has a verbal agreement with the objector, why has it not been put into writing and ratified, and what is the difference between using the gates manually and repairing the electrics and using them electronically?
6. "The access controller" The word vigilante was plastered over the sentry box and over the backs of the men acting as security.. Apparently these "vigilantes" were not paying their social security and their services were dispensed with after a member of Mi-Sol Park threaten to denounce them.
8. Re the eucalyptus tree outside 432, why was the sum of 80.00 Euros paid out when the tree was brought down by the Mi-Sol Gardener and the Mi-Sol Administrator? This work was carried out when they would or should have been working for Mi-Sol Park anyway.
10. I would like to know if the charges for investigating the electric and water utilities at Clara's request have been added to her bill now that Mi-Sol park has been vindicated of any errors.
11. I have asked before to see the instructions issued by the Town Hall regarding the large sign at the entrance, so far this has not been forthcoming.
12. Please publish the quotes regarding the 2 new entrance signs on the Blog.
14. Please publish the results of the monthly meeting with Rosario on the blog, as was the custom in the past.
17 (b) Why have quotes for a new administrator been asked for? If our existing administration Mr. P. Hopkins no longer wishes to continue in this capacity there are other people willing and able to do the administrators job FREE OF CHARGE –who?- Me.
17 (c) The road designated for repair which passes Plots 521 and 534 right around to 513 and 511 has been damaged by Clara's tenants and the main people to benefit for this repair is again, Clara's tenants.

Regarding the meeting 20-03-2010
The swimming pool. As long ago as last September it was well known by the President and the committee that there were going to be ongoing repairs needed in the Swimming Pool. It was suggested that at least 5000.00 Euros be retained in order to ensure that the pool repairers returned. This was not done and the pool repairers ,as with many contractors do not feel the need to keep to their side of the bargain once they have received all the money due to them--such is the way of the world. We now need a person who understands what needs doing and then get him to do it. Mr. J. Brown will not be telephoning anyone in the near future as he has gone to England for 2 weeks.
I would like to see a copy of the Health and Safety rule which says the pool has to be closed between 2pm & 4pm every day. This closure will mainly affect the English community, who after all are the main ones to pay their comunidad, the guests of the English residents do not follow the Spanish custom of having a siesta.
What reasons were given for the reinstatement of the trellis next to the pool, the general consensus seems to be that it looks much nicer without it....This is not a legal requirement and, as this is a structural matter and Mi-Sol Park’s money, surely it should go before the AGM.
Regarding the meeting at the Town Hall. This short cryptic paragraph at the end of the minutes sent most of the older residents into a complete flap. Since the minutes were printed a little more information has come to light, namely that someone unknown to our president contacted Mr. G. Knight regarding post boxes at Mi-Sol Park, this in turn lead to Mr. Knight contacting Councilor Eduardo Gill Rebollo who has made an appointed with our president . There are apparently going to be other representatives of Mi-Sol Park at the forthcoming meeting after Easter, and I for one would like to know who they will be.
Could the bank statement also be published on the Blog.
Thank you for your attention.
Mrs. P. Olive
