Letter to Mo 20-12-2010
If the bank statement figures do not have to match the accounts produced by the Treasurer, can you please explain by what margin the figures will diverge?
I do not agree with the accounts sent out with the pre-AGM information as the starting figures are not the same as the end figures of 2008.
Can you explain how an auditor can check that the figures presented to him are correct if he does not ask for said information??
I would like an analysis of the expenses from the Bank and the petty cash records.
I would like a list of all persons receiving a credit and what the credit was for.
I would like a list of all persons justifying their accounts with receipts.
I do not agree that the minutes of the AGM last year are accurate, as it is minuted that every person attending the AGM voted. I have handed a letter to the Treasurer from a member of the communbity which states quite catagorically that he did not vote. Two other persons are known to have not voted. This was all pointed out after the AGM of 2009 but was swept under the carpet.
I have been reading about EGM's and the reason they are called: without exception the main reason for calling an EGM is that something of importance and or urgency has occurred which the president is unable or unwilling to take responsibility for.
What is so important that it warrents residents of Mi-Sol Park calling an EGM with all the work & expenses it entails?
Are these same people willing to foot the bill for postage etc, as their reason seems to be completely frivolous.
Why do the 25% think the closed voting resolution takes effect before the minutes of the AGM have been published?
Why would the president fight so hard to stop comunity members willing to help on the committee from doing so?
In the last post it was stated that all help would be appreciated, so does that mean the president does not want committee members as they would be able to vote for or against any resolutions?
There seems to be a lot of unanswered questions, which no-one seems willing to address.
